Oppose Manasota Beach Rd and residents from across the county say they’re sick of being ignored while overdevelopment continues to drastically reshape the community they live in and love – bringing flooding risks, traffic, and environmental damage with it.
Many in the crowd accused local leaders of listening to developers instead of the people they represent and raised concerns about decisions being made behind closed doors. For them, this was a breaking point.
They’re not asking anymore. They’re demanding to be heard.
